As a PhD student in psychology, I feel proud to be part of a profession where researchers and clinicians have the opportunity to bring a positive impact on communities.

I did my bachelor degree in psychology at Université du Québec à Montréal where I conducted a thesis on the effect of yoga practice in school on attention behaviors of students with autism spectrum disorder.
During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Geneva as an exchange student in 2014. While there, I conducted a brief study on memory training as part of a master's course on cognitive aging.
In 2018, I obtained my bachelor degree in psychology and started my PhD under the supervision of Dr Nathalie Poirier and Dr Gilles Dupuis.

As a PhD student, I am training to become a clinical neuropsychologist and a researcher in applied psychology.
My clinical training is focus on neuropsychological assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and cognitive impairment, such as MCI and dementia, in adults.
For my thesis, I conducted a research on the effect of a psychosocial intervention based on yoga on the quality of life of children with autism spectrum disorder and their parents. Know more

Awards and scholarships
The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopment Center Research Award is a postdoctoral competition funded by University of Toronto to support research project of future fellow at the Center for Addition and Mental Health.
The SSHRC doctoral fellowship support high-calibre students engaged in doctoral programs in the social sciences and humanities. Applicants are evaluated through a competitive merit review process.
Candidates are first selected by their university program committee. Once accepted, the university’s committee send each pre-selected application to the SSHRC committees that will make a final decision based on research and academic excellence. In 2020, the acceptance rate in a psychology phD program was of 20%.
The doctoral research scholarship aim to support research excellence by providing the best applicants with financial assistance to undertake a doctoral research program in humanities and social sciences. Applicants are evaluated based on their academic excellence, research project and social mobilization. In 2019, the success rate was of 36,6%.
